Wake County 10 Year Action Plan to End Homelessness
In 2004, The City of Raleigh, Wake County, Triangle United Way, and the Wake Continuum of Care Collaborative (Wake CoC) joined forces to create a 10 Year Action Plan to End Homelessness.  Their goal is to provide the opportunity for a full and dignified life in the community for every resident of Raleigh/Wake County through a comprehensive, coordinated effort to prevent and end homelessness in the next decade.  Click here to visit the Wake County 10 Year Action Plan to End Homelessness.

National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty
The National Law Center on Homelessness and Poverty (NLCHP) was established in 1989 to prevent and end homelessness by serving as the legal arm of the nationwide movement to end homelessness.  NLCHP strives to place homelessness in the larger context of poverty.  By taking this approach, the organization aims to address homelessness as a very visible manifestation of deeper causes, including the shortage of affordable housing, insufficient income and inadequate social services.  Visit the NLCHP website.
